The CAcert-community searches immediately or by appointment

Part-time, workload as desired

You are looking for a new job. Even with good qualifications, this can be time-consuming and exhausting. Precisely for this reason, a clear daily structure is important. In addition to looking for a job and applying, this can include regular work in the garden or running the neighbor's dog - or working on a free software project.

In addition to useful and interesting tasks, you will also be able to close possible gaps in your CV and, in the medium term, you will have the opportunity to specify CAcert as a reference. If you live in Switzerland (or in another place where this is customary), we can issue you a work certificate (interim certificate) after about one year on request.

As you can see from the above, there is much more to do in a free software project than just programming and IT stuff.

Even if all the work is done by volunteers, it takes money to run the servers. Also occasionally additional expenses are incurred or a server has to be replaced. CAcert finances all this from donations. As a fundraiser you will find new donators and sponsors.
