CAcert Inc. association membership
You are a CAcert user, Assurer, Developper and have made donation ? You want to get even more involved in this project ? If so read some more information about the CAcert association. If you want to be come an association member, do this:
Step 1
Read carefully the following document describing the rules of the CAcert association http://www.cacert.org/docs/CAcert_Rules.pdf
Step 2
At this point, you have found the CAcert membership form and printed it.
You complete the form, send it to the CAcert secretary
You'll need to wait until two members to propose your application request to the association as you can only become a member via a proposal from association members.
Step 3
The secratary will contact you once your application has been processed (either approved or otherwise) and you will need to pay a $10 USD per year membership fee

After ?
You get a vote in how CAcert (a non-profit association incorporated in Australia) is run; You are also eligible for positions on the CAcert board.
So as long as you pay your yearly contribution you will remain as association member.
But
By the way you do not need to be an association member in order to make use of CAcert cert services. These services are free.
If you want to donate money please do so. You do not need to be an association member to donate funds.
