= Help - How do I get a server certificate from CAcert? =

Firstly you need to join CAcert to do that go: [[https://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=1|here]]

Then you need to generate a Certificate Signing Request, for more details go: [[HELP/0|here]]

You then need to add the domain you have control of to your account, which you can do: [[https://www.cacert.org/account.php?id=7|here]]

System will send you an email with a link in it, you just open the link in a webbrowser.

Then you need to submit the contents from the CSR file to CAcert, you need to go: [[https://www.cacert.org/account.php?id=10|here]]

CAcert then sends you an email with a signed copy of your certificate. Hopefully the rest should be pretty straight forward.
