CAcert collabora con Fondazioni non-profit locali (vedi in fondo per la definizione). Una Fondazione può fornire supporto locale ad eventi, e può gestire più chiaramente donazioni ed altri guadagni.

Fondazione Oophaga -- Olanda
The Stichting Fondazione Oophaga è una organizzazione Olandese formata con lo scopo di fornire suppoto di hosting a progetti che forniscono certificati liberi come i servizi ed i server CAcert.org. Oophaga è supportato dalla fondazione non-profit NLnet, HCC, St. IAE e NLUUG. La fondazione ha anche dei sostenitori commerciali; BIT (ISP di alto livello) e Servizi di sicurezza Internet Tunix, ed alcuni tra i maggiori fornitori di hardware come SUN, AMD, Cisco, Net Apps, ecc.
La Fondazione Oophaga inoltre rappresenta la Comunità Olandese di CAcert.
secure-u -- Germania
secure-u è la e.V (Associazione) in Germania, fondata il 15.12.2007 ad Hamburg.
Il suo ruolo include la gestione degli eventi CeBIT, LinuxTag e CCC ed altri progetti Comunitari.
Dalla fine del 2010 secure-u ha deciso di sostenere L'ATE di CAcert in Germania.
secure-u è fondata e registrata (2008-01-22), ed ora archiviata nell'ufficio imposte di Hambirg per l'approvazione come entità esente-da-tasse (datato 2008-04-07).

Sonance.artistic.network Austria
Sonance Verein in Austria currently provides some technical/administration support in providing hosting under FunkFeuer. As it is an art community, not a techie community, it currently provides no support to the other aspects of the CAcert community.
CAcert Incorporated
CAcert Incorporated is an Association formed under NSW, Australia law. Its primary purpose is (informally) to hold the intellectual property, oversee the development of the community, and develop the business of the CA. More here
Notes and Links
In the above, the term Foundation is used inclusively to cover a wide variety of structures: Associations, (Dutch) Stichtungs, (German) Vereins, non-profits, etc. As the legal structures differ dramatically from one country to another, it is hard to come up with a good term.
