I can't get in the system!
All accounts that haven't been verified within 2 days get wiped out of the system, if you try to sign up now you should be able to add yourself again properly.
Help! I FORGOT my password...what do I do now?
Do you remember the answer to the five (5) questions you filled out when you registered?
So fill the answers ! Quickly
Did you issue a client certificate so you can log into the account that way?
- You should still have the generated client certificate into your web browser so on the main page of CAcert.org, click on "Cert Login"

Go and suscribe to the support mailing list at [http://lists.cacert.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cacert-support] to have a look at the recent archives, you may find a solution
Still no luck with my password what other options are there?
At present due to the high number of lost password issues, which is putting a large burden on a free service, not to mention these are currently going unresolved in most instances, we've decided to institute a couple of additional password recovery options, both as a further self help and as an incentive for those helping to keep helping:
For those that only wish to recover their email addresses or domains and link them to another account we now have an automated dispute process that people can use to do this. You will still need to revalidate the email/domain on your new account, but the dispute form will remove the email/domain from the old account so you can actually do this.
Alternately if people really wish to salvage their accounts we have added a paypal payment method to remunerate people for their time, the amount isn't finalised yet, but it will be between US$10 and US$15.
