For this reason, the minutes are written in narrative prose rather than organised by agenda items. '''Next committee meeting: 7 May 2026, 18:00 UTC''' '''CAcert working meeting: every wednesday 11:30 UTC''' The meeting took place on the second Thursday of the month, as the first Thursday was Maundy Thursday (public holiday). At the end of February, WDB1 failed and was quickly replaced thanks to the significant time and effort invested by Dirk, Jan and Michaela. Shortly afterwards, Infra2 failed, but its replacement had already been put on track this year. At short notice, the transition was reorganised as follows: immediate restoration of services on a new second-hand server by Dirk; JanDD will set up the proper new server as planned in the summer, after which the services can be migrated to it. In an enormous effort, the aforementioned volunteers gradually brought the services hosted on this server back online, including the blog, community, certificate generator and mail server. The wiki has been available again since 9 April. This made any work during the month of March very difficult, as the documentation of the board’s work on the wiki, the mailing lists with their archives and the bug tracker were unavailable. Furthermore, Dirk was absent from the board meetings in February and March. The agenda items concerning him were scheduled to be dealt with as far as possible in March and discussed at the April meeting. Due to his involvement in the Infra and Critical areas, this has been postponed once again. The aim is to clear the backlog of work over the course of April and May. Ales has completed the CPS as far as possible. The very final tweaks are now being carried out by Kim and Ales, until Infra has brought the list server back online. The discussion in the PolG can begin shortly. At the Linux Days in Chemnitz, CAcert was represented with QubeOS at a joint stand as planned. https://chemnitzer.linux-tage.de/2026/en/ CategoryBoardMinutes
